Did your partner pop the question?! Are you thinking about proposing? Then this package is for you!
These sessions are all about celebratory vibes and having FUN together! Whether you’d like to wander along the ocean, pop some celebratory champagne on a mountain, or have a fire on the beach, I’ll be there to capture it.
Don’t forget, most of my wedding packages include an engagement session! It’s a great opportunity for us to meet each other, get you comfortable in front of the camera and take kickass photos for your wedding invitations. If you choose to book your wedding with me…your engagement session could be included in your package!
3 TIPS FOR ROCKING YOUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION
01. DRESS LIKE YOURSELF
When it comes to outfits, always wear something you’re comfortable and confident in. Try to stick to a neutral color palette to go with pretty much any backdrop. I’ll be happy to share my Pinterest board for inspiration! Also think about any props you can include in your photos – champagne, boats, beer…something meaningful to you? I love original ideas!
02. MAKE IT AN ALL DAY ACTIVITY
Make a whole day out of it! You’re all dressed up, feeling and looking good, so why not extend the adventure into a full day experience. After our shoot, grab a drink/dinner, enjoy a walk, or anything you enjoy doing together! It’s the perfect opportunity for a date night.
03. DON’T BE SHY & LEAVE YOUR EXPECTATIONS AT THE DOOR
Remember to let loose, come as you are, and have FUN! There’s no right way to act when we’re shooting together – just be YOU! The truest emotion is often found in those “imperfect” and in-between moments, so embrace them! I find that music sets the mood of the shoot, and also helps people relax so I’ll always have some playing.

I love to support my couples throughout the entire planning process! Locations, logistics, outfit ideas – I got you covered! I’ll be in touch a few times before our session.
04. ENJOY YOUR ENGAGEMENT
Show up and enjoy the experience. Sessions are full of direction, laughter and music so you can just let loose and have fun while I capture you & your love. Dogs are always welcome!
05. GET YOUR BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS
Get your final gallery within two to three weeks of your engagement/couples session. I like to take the time to perfect your images. All good photos will be included!

1. WE’RE IN! HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?
First, fill out my contact form here and I’ll get back to you ASAP. We will then hop on a call or grab a coffee. If we’re a good fit, I’ll send you a proposal, an invoice for the retainer, and a contract to seal the deal. Once I have these things, let the planning begin!
2. WILL YOU HELP US CHOOSE A LOCATION?
I’d be happy to! I have a ton of location recommendations throughout Vancouver Island & the Okanagan that I can send over to you once we’re all booked! If we’re heading beyond, you can bet I’ll find us some beautiful locations to document your love.
3. DO YOU HELP WITH POSING US? WE’RE AWKWARD AND HAVEN’T EVER POSED FOR PHOTOS!
A lot of my clients have never had professional photos taken before. Don’t worry – I got you! I always like to get to know you before our session, either in person over a drink or via Zoom if you’re a world away! When our session starts, typically the first 20 minutes is getting comfortable, interacting with each other, and having fun! I guide you through the whole shoot, play music and give lots of prompts to capture the most natural and candid images.
4. CAN YOU HELP WITH OUTFIT SUGGESTIONS?
Absolutely! Before our session, I send a questionnaire as well as a styling guide link for outfit inspiration and guidance.
5. HOW DO YOU DELIVER PHOTOS?
I deliver your photos in an online gallery that is customized just for you. From here, you can view and download your entire gallery, as well as order prints and share with your friends and family!
6. WHAT IS YOUR TURN AROUND TIME DELIVERING PHOTOS?
For engagement and couples, you can expect to receive your full gallery within two to three weeks of your session. I’ll always try and get them to you quicker so you have images to print and share on social media!
7. CAN WE RESCHEDULE IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
While I’ve shot in lots of different weather situations, my personal favorites definitely lean towards golden sunsets, blue hour, overcast days or daytime shade for best lighting situations! For this reason, I’m always willing to reschedule certain sessions if the weather isn’t cooperating for us. Obviously this isn’t an option for wedding days, but I’ll help you come up with a game plan to make the most of whatever Mother Nature brings. Whatever it is, I’ll make sure you get some super unique and awesome photos in any type of weather.
